I'm a fan of oldschool hiphop but...

This is pretty great! Both creative with synths, bass, and drums aren't too light and not too hard! It hits hard though, good. Keep up the good work, i love that scratching in the backround, and the flute is a beautiful touch.

Eerie and odd

It sounds annoying at first but 0:29 isn't bad...the backround echoing synths sound cool. However at 0:46, that feels a little out of place. At 1:03, that's pretty great, nice job. At 3:19, nice drums, powerful. Overall not bad but i feel like some synths could be replaced.

Pretty good

Overall a nice light trance song to listen to with some creative melody in the backround. I feel like rather than keep on the same thing it should change up more often but overall it's pretty good. At 3:44 i feel like you could have used that lead synth more smoothly, it sounds a little out of place. Overall good job.

Nice drums but...

A bit odd for drum and bass, I really like the drums you used, but the strings sound a little cheesy (violiln stringish sounds after the first synth comes in). The bass isn't bad but somethings missing. Overall not bad but could use a tweak or two.

Not bad

That beggining riff is nice but gets annoying. The bassline is nice coming in but feels like it could strike harder. I like the drums, and as the string varies in melody it gets better. I don't like the high string synth but maybe thats just me. I feel like this could be improved but it's not bad for what it is.

Yes i have to agree with you with the bass. The album version will be improved. Ofcourse i wont blast the volume on the bass. But make it noticible.

WAY BETTER

Way better than the original, he used a crappy slayer guitar. This is top notch quality and I could see this used as RPG battle music, this is amazing :)

Good for a start...

I really like the eerie feel to it, but the snare that comes in at 0:41 isn't powerful enough. I also like the bass, but this needs more. I mianly say replace the drums. You did a good job with the bass, but some parts sound too high, and in my opinion deserves a dark low bass. I really dig the intro and the bass but this needs a little work. Nice job though for a first attempt =]

Of course. I really just wanted to get the feel of it really. I made myself a nice setup for a wobble so I can just tweak knobs until I get the sound I want, sadly I can't get my bass deep enough from the settings I have so I'm going to experiment with it and hope for the best. The snare on the other hand I had turned on since it seamed to stand out too much, but I guess I was wrong there eh?

Well not your best. The drums in the beginning are weak and the synth sounds more video game ish. Now if you fill in the backround with more bass and backround elements this could be really good. I do like your other stuff, but this didn't do it for me, sorry =[.

I can agree with you that it really isn't that full, I wasn't focusing too much on the intro as it's like the "beginning" of me making music. I'm planning to put more into the end because there are a few things I need but since I'm balancing 4-5 songs at once I wanted to get the most finished out of the way.

I guess you could say it's a minimalistic complex song.

Not bad

Of course you're still working on this for our collab, and it's good so far, but the slayer guitar just seems out of place. Other than that it's good but it needs a snare and pickup on beat, I cant wait to see your final results on this :)

Some of the best electronic music on NG EVER

I have been on this site for years, and this is some of the best electronic music i've ever heard, sounds pro man. It takes alot to impress me. You should put this on Itunes and find a place to promote yourself outside of NG. I love this =]
